About Me

I have a genuine passion for both people and dentistry. My aim is to create healthy mouths in patients who are happy and confident to come to their dental appointments.

I pride myself on being a family dentist, treating patients of all ages; I have been lucky enough to develop long standing and trusted relationships with my patients.

I really believe in helping my patients maintain the health of their gums and teeth through a mixture of preventative and restorative dentistry, leading to long term healthy and stable mouths. I particularly enjoy looking after teeth which have had a lot of wear, rebuilding their function and ensuring the patient's comfort.

In addition to this, if patients would like to make changes to the appearance of their teeth, I can discuss a wide range of aesthetic options.

I graduated from the University of Birmingham with a distinction in clinical dentistry, an honour only awarded to the top 3 students in the year. I have since completed additional exams to become a member of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners. I am committed to furthering my dental education and have attended 2 year-long private restorative courses with renowned clinical specialists.

I worked at College Road Dental Practice in Bromsgrove for 16 years and found it very rewarding to look after my patients long-term and see my clinical work last over many years. In August 2021 I took the big step to leave College Road and team up with my colleagues and friends of many years, Damian and Nicola Kavanagh. I am lucky to feel incredibly supported by them both and feel like I have come to work with family.

At home I am married to Tim and have a step-daughter, Tess and daughter Niamh. We have a couple of crazy Bengal cats and a rabbit which completes our family.

I have settled in well at Alvechurch Dental Practice; the team here is small but perfectly formed! I am really looking forward to taking on a leading role in this successful growing team and being part of village life!!

I am currently accepting new private patients and for those wishing to spread the cost of their dental care I also offer DENPLAN membership.
